Nice ShopRite but I'd like to see a little more help, seem pretty slow and understaffed. Also maybe work on sanitation. But overall nice store. I have some sliced bread in the guy behind the counter cut it on a random catering box that came from who-knows-where.
They remodeled the fish section, it's been scaled down, less variety and more frozen fish than you can shake a stick at. Very disappointing, it used to be the best fish market for selection and price in the area. Now it's just mainstream salmon ( only one or two kinds versus before when they had at least 5 varieties at any given time) swordfish, tilapia, some specialties of the week, and alot of prepackaged stuff. No more marinated or coconut encrusted filets, salmon cakes are gone, they were out of this world delicious. Do they even take special orders anymore at the holidays? Oh and there's a fresh sushi bar....with packaged sushi for sale. Well, sorry that's been done before and you can get sushi anywhere. Have to find a new place to shop for fish, we eat it at least three or four times a week. Not happy.
Horrible customer service- Asked where I could find something and the response was "Give me a minute- I'm so tired". Are you kidding me? If they actually do answer your question, it's with an attitude. Cashiers do not greet when you begin checkout. I've been there 3 times in the past couple of days and each day it was an unpleasant experience with a different person each time.
A bit smaller with thin aisles, a produce section that lacks space and therefore variety, one feels crammed as they shop. The prices are great and the selection is solid in the grocery, dairy, and frozen foods. The workers are generally nice but the folks at the front desk spend a lot of time socializing and looking at each others phones. The lines at check out get especially busy and start wrapping around and it seems like they don't have nearly enough help even when they have most of the registers open. Overall, I try to avoid this store at certain times but as it's on the way home, it is rather convenient and I can over look their deficiencies.
